Dr. Savalia performs labiaplasty in Newport Beach by cosmetically enhancing the labia minora (inner labia) or labia majora (outer labia) for a trim, symmetrical appearance. During the procedure, he carefully reshapes the labia, in some cases using liposuction to refine the contours of the mons pubis in addition to the labia. If the labia majora appear deflated, he can use fat grafting to improve appearance. This surgery may be performed under local or general anesthesia, depending on your personal preferences and Dr. Savalia’s recommendation.
After surgery, you will wear a dressing that is similar to a menstrual pad and should rest for the first several days. Discomfort can be alleviated with cold compresses, and you can resume normal daily activities after about a week.
