How do Platelet-Rich Fibrin (PRF) Injections Work?
During the PRP treatment, a small sample of your blood is derived via syringes, similar to a simple blood draw. The PRF Treatment Experience
Your PRF treatment starts with a private consultation with our expert injectors. They carefully review your medical history and discuss your cosmetic goals to determine if you’re a viable candidate for PRF injections. If so, they curate the ideal treatment plan, which involves identifying the treatment areas and injection spots. They also walk you through every step of the process ahead of time.
The procedure starts with the collection of your blood sample from your arm using a small syringe. The blood sample is placed into a centrifuge that spins at a specific speed and setting. After some time, the PRFs are isolated from the other components, rising to the top of the vials. Meanwhile, the provider cleanses the treatment areas and applies a numbing gel on your skin.
The PRF isolation takes less than 5 minutes, following which the harvested sample is injected into the strategically-chosen treatment sites. The number of injections depends on your specific goals and concerns. The entire process concludes within 30 minutes, following which you can resume your daily activities without downtime or complications.
